Record Comics #6: Big Sandy & His Fly-Rite Trio: Fly Right...
The sixth of my series of OUBAPO comics with the following constraints:
I must draw the entire comic within the space of time I spend listening to one record. (Sides A & B)
I must draw each individual panel within the space of a single song.
I must draw with a cheap black pen. No pencil or erasing.
The record has to be one that I haven't listened to "in a while."
I can't use the lyrical content of the record in the text of my comic.
I must use the half sheets left over from printing shipping labels.
Big Sandy & His Fly-Rite Trio: Fly Right...

Page 1: This page is pretty much a true story. Some dude was definitely feeling me out to see if I was sympathetic to his rant about "PC Bullshit" in comics. It was my first personal exposure to that brand of mainstream lunacy. I think the dude was disappointed I didn't either agree or start a fight about it all.

Page 2: I sometimes think I should be more public about my political views and opinions on the comics "industry". It's probably a mistake to cram them into a 30 minute warm up exercise.

Page 3: I don't know... I don't remember what I was going for here. whatever it was, I didn't succeed.
